Greentec Mini-granular fertilisers for fine turf

The Greentec fertiliser range uses advanced formulation technology to produce a uniform, fine turf granule with an average size of 1.25mm. Each granule is homogeneous - i.e. all the nutrients are contained in every granule. This helps to provide a consistent turf response, even at low application rates.

Rapid Breakdown

The granule is formulated to break down quickly after application, on contact with moisture, minimising disruption to play and everyday maintenance practices including grooming and scarifying.

Nutrient sources

Dependent on the analysis, up to four different nitrogen forms are used including ammoniacal, nitrate, urea and methylene urea. This ensures Greentec will respond well over a wide range of conditions and, most importantly, at low soil temperatures.
By including at least two forms of immediately available nitrogen in all the formulations of Greentec, a quicker response is assured under cool spring conditions. Available in five formulations to meet varying requirements, Headland Greentec Fertilisers are suitable for use in both soil and sand dominated rootzones.

Greentec 6-5-18+MgO+4Fe is an extremely effective, high potassium, quick release fertiliser combining two readily available forms of nitrogen - ammonium sulphate and potassium nitrate.

In cool conditions, both ammonium and nitrate nitrogen are quickly taken up by the grass plant, providing optimum response during the autumn / winter and spring seasons.

In addition, the potassium nitrate portion of Greentec 6-5-18+MgO+4Fe is a valuable source of sulphur-free potassium. The iron content aids turf hardness and strength, promoting disease resistance.

Greentec Microtonic 3-0-6+3Fe + 3.6% Humic acid

A recent addition to the popular Greentec range, Greentec Microtonic 3-0-6+3Fe is formulated to provide a lower nutrient input, accompanied by good colour. 93% of the nitrogen in the analysis is derived from sulphate of ammonia, to ensure a rapid response in low soil temperatures. Added humic acid aids particle breakdown. The formulation is perfect for situations where a small nutrient input is required, but spraying is not practically feasible.
