Multigreen Base Feeding

‘Base feeding’ involves the application of a minigranular controlled release fertiliser - (Multigreen Mini) in the Spring or Autumn, typically following aeration.

This provides a small, consistent, nutrient release, governed by soil temperature alone, across the whole season. Supplementary nutrient is used in either liquid or granular form, on an "as required" basis. The frequency and rates of supplementary feeds, can be "fine-tuned" by the Course Manager for complete control and flexibility.

This prevents the characteristic "peak" and "trough" response associated with multiple fertiliser applications and ensures a more consistent growth pattern.
