Greentec Organic Organic Fertiliser for Fine Turf

Greentec Organic is a new generation organic fertiliser made from a unique combination of fully composted pine bark and manure.

With an average granule size of 1.25mm, it provides low odour and fast breakdown on the surface of the turf. Greentec Organic is ideal for use as a maintenance application on fine turf and also as a rootzone amendment during aeration and establishment. The pine bark imparts an acidic pH to the finished product as well as providing natural growth stimulants.

To obtain the ideal formulation nitrogen, phosphate, potassium and magnesium are added These are partly derived from organic sources such as rock phosphate and sugar beet pulp. The use of composted material in the formulation process of Greentec Organic is key because application to turf will not remove nitrogen from the rootzone, as is the case with non composted materials (a process known as nitrogen drawdown). To further enhance response, both Greentec Organic formulations obtain 50% of their nitrogen from sulphate of ammonia.
