TriCure Pellets
Accurate dosing through hose end applicators

A fast, safe and convenient method of applying TriCure wetter through hose-end applicators. The pellets are designed to dissolve quickly in order to provide an accurate dose – sufficient to effectively treat and prevent hydrophobic soils.

Each pellet consists of 75% TriCure AD and can be used as either a stand alone treatment or as a supplement to regular water management programmes.

Many alternative pellets take a long time to dissolve – resulting in low rates of wetter being actually applied.

As TriCure AD Pellets contain a high proportion of active ingredient and dissolve rapidly, Turf Managers can be confident of optimum treatment results.

TriCure AD and TriCure AD Pellets are non-phytotoxic and will not burn or discolour turf.

Application

The rate at which TriCure AD Pellets dissolve is determined by (1) Water Pressure (2) Flow Rate and (3) Water Temperature. To ensure correct dosage, carry out a calibration by recording the time taken for one pellet to fully dissolve.

Then use the table below to determine the correct dosage per 100 sq m.

E.G. – Pellet takes 10 minutes to dissolve.

Thus 5 minutes 33 seconds of application per 100 sq.m gives full rate application (approx. 10L/ha).

2 minutes 47 seconds of application per 100 sq.m gives low rate application (approx. 5L/ha).

Full rate (10 L/ha) will provide activity for up to 4 weeks.

Low rate (5 L/ha) will provide activity for around 2 weeks.

Please note: Longevity of activity is dependent on soil type and climatic conditions.
