Product Specification

Application Rate 5 - 10 L/ha
Supplementary irrigation Recommended
Pack size 3 x 225g pellets

The rate at which TriCure AD Pellets dissolve is determined by

  1. Water pressure
  2. Flow rate
  3. Water temperature.

To ensure correct dosage, carry out a calibration by recording the time taken for one pellet to fully dissolve.

Use the table below to determine the correct dosage per 100m2:

UseApplication times per 100m2

8 minutes 4 minutes 27 seconds 2 minutes 13 seconds
10 minutes 5 minutes 33 seconds 2 minutes 47 seconds

Supplement with further irrigation to ensure optimum penetration throughout the rootzone.

  • Full rate (10 L/ha) will provide activity for up to 4 weeks.
  • Low rate (5 L/ha) will provide activity for around 2 weeks.
  • Please note: Longevity of activity is dependent on soil type and climatic conditions.

Application Notes

For best results, use of TriCure Pellets should begin when daytime ambient temperatures reach 10-15°C (normally in early spring) or when the first signs of heat stress appear on turf.

Pellets can be used with most Hose-end Applicators available through Headland Amenity and will fit a 1" hose, or a 3/4" hose using an adapter. Nozzle type can be modified for variable spray patterns, but this may affect flow and dissolution rates.
