Solufeed Water Soluble Fertilisers

Headland's range of water soluble fertilisers has been extended for 2009. To build on the success of the four existing formultaions, Headland have now introduced Solufeed NK 15-0-25+MgO. All products contain a buffering agent designed to acidify the tankmix solution and increase solubility.

Note – A large part of the UK and Ireland water supply have high levels of calcium and bicarbonate which in turn reduce the total solubility potential, a key factor when water soluble fertilisers are being used.

The range includes high nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium formulations to provide the optimum nutrient input flexibility.

Solufeed HI-K 13-0-45
A sulphur-free, high potassium analysis, water soluble fertiliser utilising a fine-milled raw material in combination with a buffering agent to increase the speed of solubility.
The 100% nitrate nitrogen formulation is particularly well suited for use when soil temperatures are low and the grass plant requires a small, but rapidly-available nitrogen input.

Solufeed HI-K is ideal for use during periods of the autumn / winter and spring when low pressure provides mild air conditions, but the soil temperature is still low. Combinations with Liquid Turf Hardener and Seamac Proturf results in rapid green up and strong, hard growth due to the high potassium input.

Solufeed HI-P 13-40-13+Micronutrients
A high phosphorus analysis, water soluble fertiliser formulated with mono-ammonium phosphate for optimum phosphorus availability. Ideal for use when low soil phosphorus levels have been identified and a fast acting input is required.

Solufeed HI-P features microprilled urea and a buffering agent for increased solubility.

Solufeed HI-N 28-7-14+Micronutrients
A high nitrogen analysis, water soluble fertiliser formulated with a high urea component for maximum turf safety and a quick response during the warmer months of the season.

Solufeed HI-N utilises a high proportion of microprilled urea within the formulation and is therefore rapidly soluble due to the fineness of the product.

Solufeed NPK 14-7-28+MgO+Micronutrients
A high potasium, NPK analysis, water soluble fertiliser formulated for all year round use on amenity turf.

Solufeed NK 15-0-25+MgO
Combining technical grade sulphate of ammonia with potassium nitrate and magnesium, Solufeed NK 15-0-25 is excellent for low temperature use. Using both sulphate of ammonia to give low temperature availability of ammoniacal nitrogen, surface acidification and enhanced solubility & potassium nitrate to supply nitrate nitrogen, Solufeed NK 15-0-25 offers optimum low temperature response. During both cool and warm periods, Solufeed NK 15-0-25 is an excellent tankmix partner for a range of other Headland products.
